BRHS PROM 2014:  "NEON NIGHTS"
 
There will be lots of black lights, so make sure you dress formally in neon IF you choose!
 
DATE: The BRHS prom will be Saturday, April 12th from 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. at the CACC gym.

WHO WILL BE IN LEAD-OUT?
Junior Prom Committee and their dates, SGA Officers and their dates, Senior Class Officers and their dates, and the couples that are finalists for Prom Queen and Prom King. Everyone in lead-out will need to be in line by 7:10 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!


LEAD-OUT TIME?
7:30 sharp! After lead-out, all parents, relatives, family, and friends will be asked to leave the premises except the prom committee parents who are working the prom.

DJ
A DJ will play all of the latest hits from the time lead-out is complete until 10:30 p.m.

FOOD
Light snacks and beverages will be availabe at no charge.

PROM TICKET COST: All seniors, SGA officers, senior class officers, prom committee members,and finalists for Prom Queen and King will receive a free ticket. Dates of the above will need to purchase a ticket. The cost per ticket is $40.00 per student. Tickets will be on sale in the BRHS lunchroom from Monday, March 31 through Tuesday, April 8, 2013 ONLY!  Students not purchasing tickets during this time frame will have to pay $50.00 per ticket at the door or from Mrs. Tate.

PROM T-SHIRTS FOR SALE: All studentswill be given the opportunity to purchase a prom t-shirt during Wednesday advisement class on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Deadline for turning in money and order form is Wednesday, March 5. ALL STUDENTS MUST PAY FOR T-SHIRTS!!
 
IMPORTANT:  T-shirts are $10.00 for adult sizes: small - xlarge. XXlarge are $12.00 and XXXL are $14.00.  T-shirts will be delivered to advisment class on Wednesday, April 2

AGE LIMIT FOR DATES:
No one 21 or older may attend the prom as any students' dates.

SEATING AT CACC:
Each junior prom committee member, SGA officer, senior class officer, and finalist for Prom Queen and King AND THEIR DATES will be given two (2) RED tickets to give to whomever they choose to ask to watch lead-out.

All juniors purchasing prom tickets will be given ONE BLUE ticket to secure a seat to view lead-out. If a junior buys two tickets, she/he will be given TWO BLUE tickets. (The only reason a senior will need to buy a ticket is if their date is a lower classman or does not attend BRHS.) All seniors will receive ONE BLUE ticket with their invitation. 

Any other parents/relatives wishing to attend to watch lead-out will need to purchase a WHITE ticket for $5.00 to secure a seat to watch lead-out. These tickets can be bought during the SEVEN DAY period prom tickets will be sold. There are only 200 WHITE tickets to purchase. It is first come-first serve, since seating is limited. If all 200 tickets are not sold during above time frame, they may be purchased at the prom.

NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED PAST TICKET COUNTER WITHOUT A PROM TICKET, A RED/WHITE/OR BLUE TICKET, OR A SPECIAL PASS, DUE TO LIMITED SEATING CAPACITY! NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED IN GYM UNLES THEY HAVE A RED, WHITE, OR BLUE TICKET.

The red, white, and blue tickets will need to be given to the volunteers in the gym. The volunteers will show you to your seat.

Prom committee parent volunteers working the prom will be given a special pass to allow access that will be used for the entire night. These passes will be available at the entrance to prom. Prom Committee parents will have the first several rows in the middle reserved for seating.

BRHS teachers, staff, and Central Office employees, will receive a red ticket with your invitation. Please show this ticket in the gym to be seated in the proper place.

SECURITY:
Several off-duty Alexander City police officers will be hired to work the premises.

PHOTOGRAPHS:
Mr. Kevin Lanier will be making prom pictures at a time to be later disclosed at CACC. Students will need to pick up envelopes during the time of prom ticket sales AND SIGN UP FOR A TIME! PLEASE BE PROMPT FOR YOUR PICTURES ON APRIL 12. The money will need to be enclosed in provided, pre-printed envelope and given to Mr. Lanier at the time you signed up to have your picture made. The backdrop is a sold grey material.  There will be two neon colored balloon columns in background...one per side.

Alcohol and tobacco are prohibited!
